ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Logos is an installation of ten stained glass windows created by glass artist Maya Radoczy. The title refers to the Greek word for order and logic in the cosmos. The composition imagines a world of subatomic particles, elementary parts of the world that are smaller than atoms. The artist notes, "The diagonal lines and spinning lines of energy suggest particles as they are seen in cloud chamber photographs taken by physicists."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Colville School District.
