The Indians Prayed for Rain, but the Drought Continued is a tapestry created by artist Dana Boussard. The imagery features rain, plant and animal figures amid bold geometric designs. She created the composition using different layers of dyed and painted velvet.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Puyallup School District.
