ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Log Rhythm is a figurative landscape painting by artist Roger Jones. The painting depicts a creek near the Pacific coast between Rockaway and Twin Rocks, Oregon. The artist notes, “In this painting, I dealt with my strong interest in nature and animals – the Great Blue Heron sitting by the secluded beach. It is an image of both fantasy and reality.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Arlington School District.
