ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Artist Kathleen Caprario drew inspiration for View at the World's End from the landscape of the American Southwest. This piece is part of a body of work called "Illuminations", characterized by large metallic-leafed frames, acting as "windows that open onto a familiar, yet different view of reality and evoke a dream-like journey of the imagination."

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Kent School District.
