ABOUT THE ARTIST
Artist Carol Schmauder was born and raised in Spokane, Northeastern Washington. She fell in love with watercolor painting in 1988, after attending a watercolor exhibition featuring the paintings of Stan Miller. She studied at the Spokane Art School and later began working with acrylic paints in 2007. Schmauder notes, "My great love of color is reflected in my paintings. I have a bright and cheerful palette."
