ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Infinite Humanity is a large-scale mural by artist Todd Benson. Approximately 170 feet long and 30 feet high, the mural wraps around a two-story circular core within the lobby of the Social Sciences and World Languages Building at Columbia Basin College. The artist describes the mural as an "explosion of humanity" which explores our defining spirit and world-wide connections.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Columbia Basin College.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Spokane, Eastern Washington-based artist Todd Benson creates murals for public spaces. He notes, "My art is purely autobiographical. It is about myself and the world I live in. It is an attempt at a record. I am inspired by people and subjects that interest me."
Benson received a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Montana State University in 1994.
