ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by the realism of old master works, artist Patrick Anderson created the still-life Open Books by composing objects in his studio. Often choosing books as his subjects, this piece reflects a love of learning and the open possibilities of a blank page.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Renton School District.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
