ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Bull pen is an aerial landscape photograph created by artist Mark Abrahamson. The image depicts Wrigley Field in Chicago, and was captured while working on a project documenting the Chicago River watershed. This image is part of the artist's series "Watershed Investigations" that documents adverse impacts to our waters. He notes "From this perspective one sees a landscape continuously redefined by development and the forces of nature... the world below is troubled and complex."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Tacoma School District.
