ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Dream is a colorful and detailed painting by artist Judy McMillan. It is part of a series of wooded landscape paintings with fallen pine needles and aspen leaves. This painting also shows seed pods and lichen covered stones. The artist notes, “I began this work in San Francisco, when I began to realize how much I missed the elements of the woodlands near my home and began to recall elements of them.”
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Department of Veterans Affairs.
