ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Artist Francesca Lacagnina creates fine art photographs and designs jewelry. Her artworksare inspired by the connections between history, mythology, and personal narrative. Part of the artist's 'Quilted Reveries' series, this piece is comprised of a black and white self-portrait collaged with beaded and hand painted elements. The result is an intuitive and dream-like narrative.
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Shoreline Community College.
