Location: Mariner High School, Everett

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Studio Series #4 is a mixed-media artwork by artist Gina Freuen. Ideas in her ceramic sculptures influence her works on paper. She makes them by layering and erasing multiple images. Her imagery includes drawings, slides of her pottery, and actual objects. She scans these images and combines them into a final layered composition. She notes that this technique is similar to her glazing process.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Mukilteo School District.
