ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The plants and animals shown in her painting Fall Into Winter are based on the artist's observations and sketches of wildlife around her former home in Spokane. She notes that "There is a great textural similarity to the fur of the snow rabbit and the branches of the winter trees."
This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Northshore School District.
