Location: Washington State Arts Commission, Olympia

ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Artist Jean Cacicedo created the mixed media collage Red Dog Territory by stitching together handmade papers. She made the richly saturated colors by hand dying the paper pulp. Once dried, she added inks, paints, and additional embellishments to the surface of the papers.

This artwork was acquired for the State Art Collection in partnership with Riverview School District.
