Letra Chueca Press is the work of artist team Daniela del Mar and Camila Araya. Their work blends traditional book and graphics arts processes with socio-political and environmental confrontation. They center queer spaces and ancestral ways of knowing to connect in a variety of forms: concrete poetry, community book arts education, collaborative place-based projects, and public printing interventions. They have co-founded the Poetry Salon Broadside Project, a print and poetry gift economy series highlighting QT/+BIPOC writers and a spanglish project exploring transborder identity and Latine community printing practices.
