Perri Lynch Howard's art examines the relationship between human perception and sense of place. Questions about navigation, intuition, and physical proximity are important factors in these investigations. Her public artworks draw attention to where land meets sky, sea meets shore, and where one’s inner landscape converges with the outside world. Lynch Howard earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. She is based in Twisp, North Central Washington.
