  • Snap Grants - ArtsWA invites applications for our Snap Grants Program! 
    Are you a small group or organization with an annual operating budget of $25,000 or less? Do you need financial assistance with producing an arts project or event? Apply for a Snap Grant to be considered for up to $1,500 of support. 501c3 status or Fiscal Sponsorship is not required. Applications reviewed monthly!   • Roster of Teaching Artists - ArtsWA is now accepting applications for our Roster of Teaching Artists. The Roster is a resource directory of high-quality teaching artists who are especially well suited for working with K-12 public schools. The Roster is open to teaching artists of all disciplines. If you’re interested, please read the guidelines at https://www.arts.wa.gov/arts-in-education/teaching-artists.
    Deadline: Applications must be submitted by July 1, 2019.

  • The Creative Districts program is now accepting applications from communities in Washington State who are interested in achieving Certified Creative District designation.
  • Applicants must meet all requirements for certification; please see the Creative District Community Application Guidelines to determine eligibility. We will be accepting applications on an ongoing basis for the Creative Districts program – there is no deadline.

ArtsWA is accepting nominations for the 2019 Governor's Arts & Heritage Awards in 10 categories. Help us recognize the artists, advocates, organizations, tradition bearers, young arts leaders, philanthropists, and arts education leaders who contribute significantly to the creative vitality of Washington State. Interested in becoming the primary spokesperson, supporter, and promoter of poetry in Washington State? ArtsWA and Humanities Washington are accepting applications for the next Washington State poet laureate. The state poet laureate serves to build awareness and appreciation of poetry, including Washington’s legacy of poetry, through public readings, workshops, and presentations in communities throughout the state. The new laureate will serve from January 16, 2020, to January 15, 2022. See the application guidelines.
