📣 Request for Proposals: Media for Billy Frank Jr. Statue Project

The Nisqually Indian Tribe and the Washington State Arts Commission (ArtsWA) invite qualified and experienced firms to submit proposals for filming and video editing services for the Billy Frank Jr. Statue Project.

The project aims to capture the essence, process, cultural significance, and storytelling associated with the creation of the statue of Billy Frank Jr. by artist Haiying Wu to be installed in Statuary Hall in Washington, D.C. through professional filming and high-quality video editing.

The successful bidder will collaborate with the tribe and ArtsWA to produce compelling and visually appealing video content that showcases the significance of the inclusion of the first contemporary Native American in the hall and works with existing material that details the life of Billy Frank Jr. that will be made available to the successful bidder.

  • RFP Issuance: August 1, 2023 
  • Deadline for Proposal Submission: August 29, 2023 
  • Proposal Evaluation Period: August 30 – September 8, 2023 
  • Contract Award Announcement: September 15, 2023
