The Heritage Caucus is a public meeting of legislators, state agencies, nonprofit organizations, and members of the public who are interested in heritage and culture. It meets weekly from 7-8:00 a.m. during the legislative session in Cherberg Building Room A-B-C on the Capitol Campus. The Caucus is chaired by Representative Steve Tharinger (D-District 24) and Senator Jim Honeyford (R-District 15). The Heritage Caucus is staffed by two state agencies, the Washington Historical Society and ArtsWA (Washington State Arts Commission).
