The Governor appoints the State Poet Laureate for a two-year term. The Poet Laureate promotes the value of poetry to our culture and heritage.
The CWCT is a collaboration between ArtsWA and Humanities Washington. The Center surveys, studies, and supports folk and traditional arts.
Creative Forces supports arts healing for active military, veterans, and their families. It is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts.
These annual awards honor individuals and organizations that have significantly contributed to Washington’s arts and culture.
Change Leader Institute is a professional development program designed for arts professionals.
Building for the Arts is a program that provides state capital project grants to arts nonprofits to buy, build or renovate arts and cultural facilities.
