Short Narrative Description: (up to 250 characters) Two bas-relief panels depict features of Multnomah County’s natural and built environment. Sited at the entry to Multnomah County offices, bridges, roads, and waterways are metaphors for governmental functions.

Title: Pending Communication
Date: 2007
Medium: Aluminum and stainless steel
Short Narrative Description: Twenty-seven different languages are spoken at this school. Letterforms from the various alphabets, as well as universal mathematic, scientific, musical, and monetary symbols are represented. Letterforms and computer preparation by Jeanne McMenemy.
