Art Jobs Support - Washington State Arts Commission

The Washington State Arts Commission (WSAC) and the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) both have one-time American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds provided through the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to support arts economic stimulus.

WSAC is investing its share, $285,000 in stimulus funding, in 24 non-profit cultural organizations across the state.

“This funding will help arts organizations minimize layoffs during this economic downturn,” said Gov. Gregoire. “Jobs in the arts are important to the health of our communities and to the economic future of our state.”
