Federal Stimulus - National Endowment for the Arts

Recovery.gov logoThe American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, often referred to as the stimulus or "Recovery Act", recognizes that the non-profit arts industry is an important sector of the economy and is providing $50 million in funding to the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

 

The deadline for applying for direct NEA stimulus grants was April 2, 2009. Grants will be announced as early as July 1, 2009.

 

The National Assembly of State Arts Agencies has compiled a list of additional arts funding opportunities that could be available through the Recovery Act to assist artists and arts organizations.
