FY 2018 Arts in Education Grants Announced

Congratulations to the 28 organizations that will be receiving ArtsWA contracts for Arts in Education programs in the coming school year! All of these grants involve partnerships between schools and arts organizations, with goals to improve and expand arts learning as part of basic education for K-12 students. These 28 partnerships will, collectively, provide in-depth participatory arts learning to over 23,000 students at 350 schools across the state, as well as providing professional development in arts instruction to over 600 K-12 teachers. Many more students and teachers will benefit from participating in short-term arts experiences such as field trips or performances. We say thanks and congratulations to all of the educators, artists, administrators, and community members who come together to develop, support, and implement this work.
