Arts in Education - Professional Development Support

For Arts in Education Partners

The purpose of the Professional Development Support (PDS) mini-grant is to enhance the quality of arts education in our state by increasing access to relevant conferences and trainings for professional arts educators associated with WSAC’s Arts in Education programs.

This mini-grant program is open to key partners on WSAC-funded Community Consortium programs, and to teaching artists who are currently included on the WSAC Roster of Teaching Artists.

PDS funding can support costs associated with any short-term, structured learning opportunity that will improve an individual’s level of contribution to their Consortium project and/or their work as a teaching artist.  The grant can cover up to 50% of the total cost of attending the learning opportunity, up to a maximum of $500.  A cash match is required.  Eligible costs include registration fees, travel/lodging, materials fees, and other directly related costs.

Complete details and funding criteria are outlined in the PDS Guidelines.
