Arts in Education - Community Consortium Evaluation

Evaluator Dr. Michael Sikes in A Mosaic of Knowledge: An Evaluation of The Community Consortium Grants Program, 2001-2002 (PDF), reports that the program is deepening standards-based education, building local partnerships, meeting community needs, building local intellectual capital, bringing about significant improvement in the use of data, building sustainability, and reflecting national trends.

Further evidence of the success of this grant program can be found in Improving Washington's Schools: An Evaluation of The Community Consortium Grants Program, 2003-2004 (PDF), Dr. Sikes' evaluation of the 2003-04 programs.
